Damaged/Torn Mus-haf

Question: I have a Mushaf and its papers are torn. What should I do with it? Should I bury it?

Answer : Praise be to Allah Alone, and prayers and peace be upon the last Messenger Muhammad, his family and companions.
It is permissible for you to bury it in a mosque or burn it as 'Uthman bin 'Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) did.

May Allah grant us prosperity. Peace and prayers be upon our Prophet Muhammad.
